Building Trust Through Technology

Trust is the whole game in consulting. You don't build it with promises. You build it by doing the boring stuff well, on time, in the open.

Technology as a way to be honest

When I work with a client, the tech I use isn't just the solution. It's also the proof:

  • Shared dashboards so the client sees the work, not a polished monthly summary
  • Concrete metrics on what's working and what isn't
  • Documentation the team can actually read after I'm gone

Why this matters

There are a lot of consultants making big promises right now, especially around AI. The ones still standing in five years will be the ones who showed their work.

My approach

  1. Listen first. Symptoms aren't the problem.
  2. Be honest about what tech can and can't do. Especially AI.
  3. Ship in small pieces so the client sees progress fast.
  4. Leave the team able to keep going without me.

The best engagement is the one where the client doesn't need to call me back. That's the goal.
